MOOKIE BETTS BIGGEST FAN CHALLENGE OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST YOU DECLARE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THE OFFICIAL RULES BELOW. 

CONTEST PERIOD:  The AUTOGRAPH “MOOKIE BETTS BIGGEST FAN CHALLENGE” (the “Contest”) starts on Wednesday, June 12 at approximately 12:00 PM PT and the time period for trivia submissions will end at approximately 5:00 PM PT on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  The Participant winner will be contacted on or around Thursday, June 20, 2024. The time between June 12, 2024 and June 19, 2024, will be considered the “Contest Period.”

ELIGIBILITY:  Contest is open to all individuals who meet the following criteria: (i) must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; (ii) must be a resident of the United States; and (iii) must have access to the internet and a valid email address.

Earning a prize is contingent upon meeting Eligibility requirements and compliance with these Official Contest Rules. Void where prohibited by law.  

HOW TO ENTER & JUDGING:  

To enter the Contest, participants must follow these steps:

Visit the Autograph App and claim the offer in the Dodgers Community for “Mookie’s Biggest Fan Challenge” to start the entry.

Complete the full trivia entry form by providing your answers to the questions and the requested contact information.

Submit the completed entry form.

Judging will be based on the following criteria:

  Fifty percent (50%) of judging criteria will be based on the number of trivia questions answered correctly.

  Fifty percent (50%) of judging criteria will be based on the Biggest Fan submission,  rated on creativity, uniqueness, and expression of passion for Mookie and baseball fandom.

LIMIT ON ENTRIES:  Each participant may only enter the Contest once per person. Multiple entries, including using multiple email addresses for the same person, will be disqualified.

PRIZE:  

The prize (“Prize”) is one (1) spot in the “Breakfast with Mookie - Digital Fan Experience” and the opportunity to ask Mookie a question; one (1) signed Mookie Betts baseball. Approximate retail value of the Prize awarded is $500. 

EACH PRIZE WINNER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OTHER EXPENSES RELATED TO THE PRIZE NOT SPECIFIED HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INTERNET CONNECTION CHARGES AND TAXES. 

The Prize will be awarded only to a verified winner of the Contest and no cash redemption or substitution allowed, except at Autograph’s sole and absolute discretion.  Autograph reserves the right at any time to substitute the Prize or a component thereof for any reason with a prize or a prize component of equal or greater value, including, without limitation, at Autograph’s sole discretion, a cash award.  All federal, state and local taxes, and all expenses not specifically mentioned as part of the Prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be notified by email on or about Thursday, June 20, 2024. In order to remain eligible, potential prize winner must respond to such email within twenty-four (24) hours, in order to confirm Prize acceptance in a timely manner. If a potential prize winner does not reply to such notification within the indicated time period and/or if the e-mail notification is returned as undeliverable after two (2) attempts, such winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected from all remaining eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

PUBLICITY RELEASE:  Prize winner consents to the use of the winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes and in advertising worldwide without approval rights or additional compensation, and may be required to sign and return a separate publicity release, except where prohibited by law (TN residents will not be required to sign a publicity release as a condition of winning a reward). 

GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION:  This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws.  By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Autograph, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules.  Autograph is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries.

Autograph reserves the right to disqualify any participant that Autograph determines, in its sole discretion, violates these Official Rules.  Autograph reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, at any time, without notice.  If for any reason this Contest is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Autograph which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, then Autograph reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, or any part of it, and award the Prize from valid entries received up to the termination or suspension date. 

Prize winner agrees to comply with all applicable rules and regulations (including those of the event organizer) in connection with the event tickets awarded as prizes. Such event organizer reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to any prize winner who engages in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the event. The Released Parties (as defined below) will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of, or the restriction on fans attending, the event. Tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture and may invalidate the license granted by the event ticket.  Admission to the event is subject to all rules, requirements, and policies, including, without limitation, all security, fan conduct, and safety and health requirements and policies, put in place by the event organizer.

MOBILE DEVICES:  When you use a smartphone or other mobile device, message and data rates may apply.  Not all cellular service providers offer the service necessary to participate in this Contest through a mobile device. Please check with your provider for specific capabilities, charges and pricing plans. 

INTERNET LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:  Autograph is not responsible for: failures or malfunctions of phones, tablets, computers or other hardware or devices (each a “Device”); phone lines, cellular systems or telephone or data transmission systems; interrupted or unavailable networks, server or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet; or any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to any person's Device related to or resulting from Contest participation.

NO LIABILITY; RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION:  By entering, participants and winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Autograph and its contractors, service providers, advertising and promotion agencies, prize providers and any other entities directly associated with this Contest, and event organizers, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by participants, or by any third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest, as well as any other claims, damages, charges, fines or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind, or any claims of violation of rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in this Contest or in any Contest-related activity.  The Released Parties shall have no liability for any problems or errors of any kind whether computer, network, mechanical, human, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest.

DISPUTES:  ALL DISPUTES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONTEST SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY RESOLVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AUTOGRAPH’S TERMS OF USE. 

WINNERS LIST REQUEST:  The name of the winners of the Contest will be available promptly after the winner has been identified and may be shared upon written request to AUTOGRAPH “MOOKIE BETTS BIGGEST FAN CHALLENGE” WINNERS LIST REQUEST, ℅ Autograph, 3130 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90403.
